Bagging a Brand Refresh

Problem

Sacatelle needed a refreshed visual identity that felt bold, modern, and aligned with its brand values—chic, minimal, and effortlessly stylish. The original logo was too thin and often got lost in marketing materials. On top of that, the two founders had very different visual preferences, making it a challenge to find a direction they could both align on. Beyond the logo, the brand also needed a clear, engaging way to communicate its custom bag production process to potential clients.

Approach

To solve the logo challenge, I explored a range of concepts that balanced both founders’ styles. The final mark featured a bold, modern wordmark with a stylized “S” that echoed the shape of bag handles—giving Sacatelle a memorable symbol that could be used independently or with the full logo.

In addition to the visual identity, I developed a brand video to help explain Sacatelle’s custom tote bag process to prospective clients. I handled the full production—designing the visuals, animating the content, and recording the voiceover—to ensure a cohesive, educational, and on-brand experience. The result was a polished presentation that helped establish Sacatelle’s credibility and make its offerings more approachable and understandable.
